We are a family focused club

Boomers Football Club, established in 1956, is a successful and vibrant soccer club with a membership of over 330 playing members, drawn from our local community. Our home ground and clubrooms are located at Glen Park, Glenroy.

Approximately 85% of our players are children and young men and women. Our members benefit from playing competitive soccer on a weekly basis. We also have a strong supporter base consisting of families, friends and local soccer fans.

The club has a rich heritage going back over 60 years and a high profile due to its success over that time.

Each season the club fields teams in the Albury Wodonga Football Association’s (AWFA) competition. Teams range from under 5s (Small sided games - Saturday competition) through to the men’s and women’s senior grades. All of our players and committee are unpaid amateurs.

At an international level, the club has nurtured some of Australia’s most exciting soccer stars, including Ellie Brush and Josh Kennedy. The club has also produced numerous representative players at regional, state and national levels, while Boomers Football Club continues to be a leader in the Albury Wodonga Football Association (AWFA).
