Update from our President

To our Valued Members.
Only a few more rounds to go before the start of finals.
We had a big day at Glen Park against Albury City last Sunday, they have all their teams and lots of people supporting which is great for the canteen and for the general feel for the day.
Perfect weather and great results on the park, all in all a good day from juniors through to the seniors.
As you all will have seen our Reno’s to the Club House and Veranda are almost complete, these changes with the addition of the Boomers Café has really changed the whole feel of this area.
I would to Thank and Highlight the following people and companies for their support in this project both ‘Inkind work’ and or discounted prices for materials supplied.
David Armstrong & Robert Sharp – Albury City Council. Phil Wilkins – Phil Wilkins Building Design. Phil Watt – Phillip Watt Building Services. David & Andrew Baxter – Baxter’s Concrete. Nello – Apex Metals Melbourne. Crowy – Fastener Specialists. Pieter Noordewier – Richard Noordewier Electrical Damian Porta – Albury Wodonga Plastering Neil – Neil’s Pest Control
We are not done yet as far as the total project goes, we still need to run a similar black fence on the Southern and Western sides of the new warm up – training pitches.
Matt Mildren has organised our ‘Inaugural Sponsor’s Day’ on Sunday the 27th August. It would be great for everyone to be involved that day, we play Myrtleford SC that day so it should be a great day for the juniors to see how the senior grades go against one on the top teams.
On an important note there will be two Executive positions that we need to fill for the coming seasons.
We will need a new President and Secretary.
We currently have a fantastic committee that is very positive and active. Ideally it would be great for parents from our juniors to step up and continue to drive our Club in the direction we have been going in for the past few years.
